Starting Point

The foundation for Rouge Radiance was created in the 3rd semester in the photography course, as part of a still-life assignment. For this, I staged and photographed a lipstick with a particular focus on lighting, shadow, composition and product aesthetics.

Independent Further Development

In the 5th semester, I revisited the photography independently and developed it into the fictional beauty magazine 'Rouge Radiance'. The still-life motif became the central element of the cover, translated into a high-quality magazine aesthetic through typography and editorial design.

The project thus combines two of my design disciplines, photography and editorial design, and shows how a photographic work can evolve into a standalone visual application.
